It is almost the holidays! I'm doing this holiday collaboration with my friend Pursebuzz so don't forget to check out her easy princess hair tutorial! It is super cute!
To achieve this look:
I primed my eyes with Urban Decay Primer potion. You guys already know that a primer will allow your shadow to stay on all night long without creasing, so it is super important!
Next, use a soft gold color to put all over the lid up to the crease. I wanted to use a metallic gold color for that dramatic look but since I didn't have any on hand, I just used "Vanilla" from the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette. I actually did this whole look using this palette.
Flip your brush over and pick up "M.I.A" from the same palette and apply that on the outer corner. I wing-ed this color out a little bit to compliment the liner later on.
Take the color "Chase", again from the same UD Pallete, to pat on the center of the lid and blending the other two colors together.
Now use a blending brush and pick up "Deeper" and blending out any harsh edges.
Highlight the brow bone with "Flow"
Line the eyes with a chocolate brown liner with a little wing on the outside. Also line the lower waterline, connecting the top outer corner with the lower liner. Then, go back with the dark brown color to set the liner on the bottom. Use a little of that gold color from earlier to highlight the inner eye corner.
Intensify the brown liner with your BLACKEST, DARKEST liner. Be careful not to cover the brown liner completely. Line the eyes so that just a little bit of the brown peeks through on the top for a 3D look. Do the same for the bottom waterline, use a dark black liner and line the lower waterline.
Fill in your brows. You don't have to draw them in too much for this look because we want to focus on the lips and lashes.
Now curl your lashes, apply mascara, and apply some natural looking lashes. I'm using the D.U.P Eyelashes in 911 from imomoko I absolutely LOVE these lashes! The band is super soft and the hair on the lashes are knotted so that you can slide them around to create different looks. The quality is amazing as well. They are a little on the pricey side, but it is worth the investment!
Next is the special part!! PAPER LASHES!! I first saw paper lashes about a year ago on the Taiwaniese show "Queen". I knew I had to get my hands on some because they are so dainty and delicate, exactly what I like. You can find these particular ones from Sephora. I cut each band of lash into 3 pieces so that I can get more uses out of them (they are a little expensive for lashes), and also to avoid looking too crazy.
Apply the lashes on the outer corner. Voila! Now you just have to add some red lips and you are ready to PARTY!!
Ok, for the lips you have 2 choices: nice rosy lips for day time look (I used the Lancome limited edition Le French Touch Absolu gifted by a super dear friend Betty) or red velvet lips for the night time. For the dark red lips I used Nars velvet lips in "Dragon Girl". Don't forget to line your lips if you decide to go with a darker intense red color! Nobody wants to end up looking like the Joker at a holiday party!

I hope you guys enjoyed this holiday tutorial! Merry Christmas!
